Our Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHAs) Fruit Peel is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid and a group of natural acids found in various fruits. 

In contrast to more intensive acid peels that eliminate the outmost layer of skin, our Alpa Hydroxy Acid Fruit Peel is formulated to be gentle, effectively removing only dead skin cells.  With a pH of 3.5, it is designed to provide mild exfoliation that is safe for most skins.

Directions for Use:  

Apply to the skin and leave on for 15 minutes. Then rinse off. Follow with a serum and/or moisturizer. Depending on your skin type this product can be used twice a week but not in conjunction with harsh exfoliators.  If you are using a harsh exfoliator, avoid using this product for at least 5 days.

AFTERCARE:

Applying sunscreen after a fruit acid peel is essential for several reasons:

• Increase Sensitivity:  Fruit acid peels can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Protecting your skin from UV rays is crucial to prevent irritation and damage.
• Prevent Hyperpigmentation:  After a peel, your skin may be more prone to hyperpigmentation or dark sports when exposed to the sun.  Sunscreen helps safeguard against these unwanted changes.
• Promote Healing:  Your skin undergoes a renewal process following a peel. Sunscreen shields the skin from environmental aggressors, allowing it to heal effectively.
• Maintain Results:  Protecting your skin with sunscreen helps maintain the benefits of the peel, ensuring you enjoy smoother, brighter skin for longer.

For optimal protection, choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with t least SPF 30 and reapply throughout the day, especially if you’re spending time outdoors.

Skin Patch Test:

Before you use this product, it is important to do a skin-patch-test in the crook of your elbow to ascertain whether you might be allergic. Apply a small amount of product on the skin and wait 24 hours. 

If you experience skin irritation, redness, itching or discomfort, it is important to stop using the product immediately.  Skin irritation can be a sign of an allergic reaction or sensitivity to the ingredients. Discontinue use and gently cleanse your skin with a mild cleanser. Follow up with a soothing moisturizer to help calm the skin. If irritation persists or worsen, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for further guidance.

Storage: 

Keep well sealed and store in a cool area away from sunlight, children, animals, moisture and heat.
