Products can be formulated according to hair/skin type and client specifications. Free, no obligation consultations with clients provides us with crucial information e.g. allergies, fragrance-free/fragranced products, likes or dislikes, or whether there are any ingredients you would prefer to avoid. We will do our utmost best to either substitute or remove certain ingredients should a client want a tailored product- no commercial company will do this for their clients.

Products has a lead time of 5-7 working days before shipping as each product is specifically and carefully formulated.

Hydro-Essence was built on the foundation of quality, technology, innovation and effectiveness.  We source high-end ingredients from the world's leading cosmetic raw materials suppliers.  

We package our products in glass or recycled plastic bottles. Products like bath oils, shampoo, conditioner etc. is packed in recycled plastic bottles, not glass- due to the risk of injury if one drops the product in the bath or shower. Facial serums, lotions etc. is packed in glass bottles or jars, lip balms and salves are package in tins, glass or recycled plastic jars, depending on the product.

We use simple labeling and packaging for products, as expensive packaging increases the cost of products which the consumer pays for and discards anyway. We would rather use high-end ingredients for quality products than packaging. We do not use boxes for each product, we recycle boxes and shred them for packaging. All the information and ingredient list of each product is available on request as our products are copyrighted, the full ingredients list can be sent via WhatsApp or email. We go paperless, we save trees!

Deforestation is of great concern, the rate of deforestation occurring currently is 12 million hectares of forests worldwide.  Trees provide us with oxygen and without oxygen we will die.  Plastics around the world is of great concern when it comes to our oceans, rivers and wildlife.  The decomposition rate of glass is NONE, there are no microorganisms on planet Earth that are able to break down glass.

We are constantly seeking and researching for eco-friendly packaging, we endeavor to keep searching for packaging that will save our planet, oceans, rivers and wildlife.
